Chroma, a pair of seven story apartment structures reflects the playful atmosphere of Seattle’s Cascade neighborhood. One of the last sites to be developed in this portion of South Lake Union, the project took on special significance as a backdrop to Cascade Playground an important neighborhood open space and community hub. The colorful plaid pattern of the primary frontage seeks to weaves together colors found in nearby residential buildings, creating a unified palette for the neighborhood.
